During these last few months my writing here has been sparse – my time has been full with family activities and farming on the Shire! I haven’t shared any posts since September; however I have been harvesting late into November, preparing our Sheep for their breeding program and winter care, preparing for Christmas, and simply catching up on all the projects that I couldn’t accomplish earlier in the year, as I imagine you have been too!
I’m certainly not caught up; however the year was full of many blessings and beautiful memories.
As we celebrate the Octave of Christmas (eight days celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior) I want to send out a greeting and photos to all of you.
From our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Joyous and Happy New Year!

New Year hopes, dreams, and goals.
Our New Year is almost upon us and I’ve slowly been preparing my hopes, dreams, and goals for the New Year. How about you? Is it too soon? Or are you all set and ready for 2023? January is a chance for me to de-clutter and reorganize my house! After my concussion, a number of spring cleaning items were left aside, with last January’s tasks being simply set aside for 2022.
I’m looking forward to starting again this year, first with spring cleaning, reorganizing closets and cupboards, then setting up shelves in my Cottage shed/storage shed, going cross country skiing again, and more Milk painting projects! There will be more posts about Herbalism as I’ve started a Family Christian Herbalism Course and I’m excited about writing more posts on a variety of topics for 2023. This has been a grand adventure, having a place to share my writing.
Next year I have a few surprises in store for our readers such as potential videos and an additional writer for my Website! Stay tuned!

Looking forward to hearing about your Christmas Celebrations and New Year’s hopes, dreams, and goals. Feel free to leave me a comment!
A most blessed Christmas Octave to you and all!
You are a beautiful family who gives back to the world of God’s bounty. Thank you.
